Multiplication, also known as clonal propagation,
is a method of plant propagation suited to willows.

Willow planting

Planting short rotation coppice (SRC) willow on underused land can be an excellent way of generating additional income, reaching net zero goals, and reducing the risk of environmental events such as flooding. 

Willow crop management

Once you have prepared your land for growing willow and have planted the shrubs, minimal ongoing management is required until the plants are ready to harvest.

Willow harvesting

Once your crop of SRC willow has had 3 or 4 years to mature,
it will be ready for its first harvest.
